Key Plastics OPENS CLASS 7 Cleanroom

 

Key Plastics is very proud to announce the opening of its Certified Class 7 Clean Room in Bray.

 

The fully certified Class 7 moulding room enables the injection moulding of complex devices for the medical, pharmaceutical and electronics industries. Key Plastics uses the cleanroom to mould a variety of medical grade materials including elastomers and other thermoplastic polymer grades compliant to a variety of healthcare standards and approvals including USP Class V1, FDA etc.

 

Cleanrooms are designed to maintain extremely low levels of particulate matter such as dust and airborne organisms and typically have a classification level quantified by the number of particles per cubic meter.
